What services do you offer?

fabXprime provides 4-axis and 5-axis CNC machining services. We offer this service in two flavors: Standard and Custom. We will be rolling two additional services in 2019:

• * 3D Printing
• * Plasma cutting

What is the difference between your Standard and Custom machining services?

Our Standard services is optimized to quote, make, and deliver CNC machined parts simply, affordable and fast. To use this service, enter part size, select material, surface finish, color, quantity, and, if required, threaded hole specifications. fabXprime, will then review, quote, program, machine, inspect and ship your part according to standard tolerances and finishes. Our Custom Machining service is for customers that require tighter than +/-.005" tolerances, better than 16uin surface finish, heat treating, material certifications, etc. These customers typically provide detail specification in documents known as detail or fabrication drawings.

To use this service, upload your 3d model and 2d detail fabrication drawing fabXprime, will then review, quote, program, machine, inspect and ship your part according to your fabrication drawing specifications.

What are your CNC Machining capabilities?

fabXprime owns and operates the latest 4-axis and 5-axis CNC machines. General guidelines for size are:

• * 3 Axis Machining up to 50" (1,270mm)
• * 4 Axis Machining up to 22" (560mm)
• * 5 Axis Machining up to 12" (300mm)

What manufacturing materials do you offer?

While we have expertise in machining a wide variety of materials, below are a few samples of the more common materials we work with on a regular basis.

What are your CNC Machining tolerances?

• * Our Standard machining service meets +/- .005in (+/- .13mm) tolerances
• * Our Custom machining service meets tolerances as tight as +/- .0005" (+/- .013mm)

What part colors are offered in the Standard service?

• * Clear anodize (available for aluminum only)
• * Black anodize (available for aluminum only)
• * As machined - cleaned and free of oil and debris

What part surface finishes are offered in the Standard service?

• * 63µin (1.6µm) Ra, as machined
• * 32µin (.8µm) Ra

What kind of 5-axis machines do you have?

• * We have advanced 5-axis milling machines made by Matsuura (MAM72-3VS).
• * These machines use robots to automatically change 240 cutting tools and load 40 pallets for uninterrupted machining and reduce set-up times.

How much is shipping?

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on volume, weight, destination address, and shipping method. Customers also have the option to use their own shipping accounts (e.g. FedEx or UPS) during checkout if required.
